Practice History

More Than 70 Years of Legal Counsel and Advocacy

Crosby Guenzel LLP was established in 1948 by Robert C. Guenzel and Thomas R. Pansing. After serving as Governor of the state of Nebraska, Robert B. Crosby joined the firm in 1955.

Since its inception, the Firm has operated on the philosophy that commitment to the success of our clients, excellence in the practice of law and adherence to the highest ethical standards are conducive to beneficial and long-standing relationships with our clients.

We are proud to have provided legal services to many of our clients over several decades. We are likewise proud of our past and continuing associations with our former partners, who have been instrumental in our continuing success.

While the Firm offers a full range of legal services, those services are generally concentrated in the following areas:

  • Agribusiness and Agricultural Cooperative Law
  • Corporation and Business Entity Formation and Representation
  • Nonprofits and Religious Institutions
  • Commercial Litigation
  • Commercial Transactions and Creditor's Rights/Collections/Bankruptcy
  • Real Estate Transactions
  • Administrative and Regulatory Law
  • Insurance Regulation, Rehabilitation and Liquidation
  • Water and Natural Resources Law
  • Probate and Estate Planning
  • Closely Held Company Ownership Disputes

We make the same professional commitment to new and prospective clients as that which has guided us since the Firm's inception.
